This Vintage pure silk garden design rug, which is a typical
panel design incorporating the four seasons.
Designs elements of which are used include willow trees, cypress trees,
prayer panels, and other. This style of rug is interesting, as often each panel
could stand alone as its own rug. Kashmir rugs are renowned to have bright,
jewel-like colour tones such as sapphire blue, ruby red, emerald green,
aquamarine, amethyst, and ivory. Circa 1950
