This Kilim is a flat woven carpet that is woven by nomads in Afghanistan using only vegetable dyes. They use a special technique when weaving, giving the carpet a thinner and cover-like quality. The kilims are also made faster than an ordinary Oriental carpet. Their pattern are traditional, and the carpet is suitable for hanging on walls or using on the floor.
